In the automotive sector, digital road Surface Models are an important basis for a wide range of applications, especially in the areas of tire development, noise analysis, vehicle dynamics and ride comfort simulation.
Digital Road Surface Models provide more than just absolute height data. Their high resolution and relative accuracy allow precise measurement of road condition factors like longitudinal evenness. They also enable the assessment of road quality based on ISO 8608 or IRI standards.
If required, the Road Surface Models supplement the HD Maps with elevation information of the road surface, so that precise input data for vertical vehicle excitation can also be provided for driving simulation or sensor simulation.
Our Surface Models can be used in common simulation applications like ADAMS or Cosin Ftire.

The Point Cloud is one of our main products, serving you as accurate foundation for modelling applications, and is the basis for all our other offerings. Captured by two high-resolution and high-precision laser scanners, it enables surface and environmental modelling, object extraction for HD Maps (for example markings and guardrails) and much more.
The Point Cloud provides a highly accurate representation of the road surface and can also capture the entire surrounding road space.
Our hardware setup also allows a closed quality control of our system. Additionally, it minimizes scan shadows caused by objects such as vehicles, ensuring comprehensive and precise data acquisition.

Tailored to your needs, we create a Digital Twin of your test track, proving ground, racetrack or your favourite public road by seamlessly integrating HD maps, 3D environment models and surface models, perfectly aligned under the principle of “what you feel is what you see.”
