3D Mapping Solutions GmbH from Holzkirchen has announced a strategic cooperation with HORIBA. The cooperation with the company, which is a leading provider and innovation driver for complex vehicle testing systems, will initially focus on joint activities in the development of advanced products and applications as well as in the area of transfer from reality to virtuality. In a second step, the development of additional services with a focus on scenario-based testing and ViL is planned. With regard to their core competencies in the automotive sector, HORIBA and 3D Mapping Solutions complement each other excellently and can thus further develop the different fields of activity into future-oriented products and applications. The joint products and applications enable both contractual partners to design necessary simulations for the testing of driver assistance systems and autonomous vehicles.
